Capítulo 1761: Chapter 1762: Reaching Consensus

“Aunt Ye?”

Not knowing where Ye Qingci’s voice came from, Su Chengyu could only aimlessly extend his Divine Sense in all directions.

However, the location where Ye Qingci was currently situated seemed far beyond the range Su Chengyu could perceive, leaving him no choice but to abandon the idea of probing further.

A quarter of an hour might not be considered ample, but those who hadn’t been giving their all against the Guardian Beasts certainly still had reserves of strength.

The biggest troublemaker, Jiang Mo, seemed to have also been affected by the aftershock of the previous strike and wasn’t in a much better state than himself.

There wouldn’t be much strength left to stop him, and even accounting for external interference, a quarter of an hour was ample time for Su Chengyu to lead everyone away from this place.

However…

Su Chengyu turned back, noticing the anomaly in the Nine Yin Bone Relaxing Array still unfolding.

He could clearly feel the Breath of Martial God enveloping the entire Great Formation rapidly separating from it.

Of course, separating along with the Luo Clan’s bloodline power were also the God’s Souls belonging to Xu Nanzhi and Luo An.

Su Chengyu was certain everything was moving in a positive direction, but was there really enough time in the remaining quarter of an hour?

Furrowing his brows tightly together, Su Chengyu, after a rapid mental assessment, quickly made his final decision.

Watching Jiang Mo, who seemed intent on making a comeback, Su Chengyu swiftly sent a sword to intercept him.

“Enough!”

Jiang Mo furrowed his brow, glaring at Su Chengyu as he said, “Boy, I admit I’ve underestimated you, but now that it’s come to this, there’s no turning back for me.”

As Jiang Mo’s words fell, Bai Qiu and Ling Xiao also stood in front of Su Chengyu, clearly unwilling to let the recently injured Su Chengyu have another encounter with Jiang Mo.

Watching Jiang Mo momentarily halted, Su Chengyu’s gaze skimmed past him and landed on Han Xiaotian, who was still spectating from afar.

“Han Xiaotian! Let’s be frank, even if you haven’t received the news, you should’ve sensed the Divine Sense sent by the Cold Moon Envoy, right?”

Han Xiaotian looked at Su Chengyu from a distance, “Was it she who saved your life?”

“What else could it be?”

Su Chengyu asked plainly in return.

In truth, although Ye Qingci’s Divine Sense arrived quickly, it hadn’t actually succeeded in stopping Luo Changsheng’s aura.

Su Chengyu managed to stand here purely because the strike lost much of its power on the way, and coupled with his Thunder Resistant Body, he narrowly survived.

However, since Han Xiaotian insisted on attributing it to Ye Qingci, Su Chengyu decided to go along with it.

He was well aware that Han Xiaotian, despite harboring murderous intent, chose to stay as an onlooker precisely because he wasn’t sure how much attention Ye Qingci had devoted to this battlefront.

Since the opponent was fearful, Su Chengyu wasn’t reluctant to use it to threaten him.

“So what do you want to say? I’ve already said, I can’t control them; this is between the Jiang Clan and you. Even if Saint Envoy Ye was here, I wouldn’t be able to stop them for you.”

Jiang Mo blinked and still spoke shamelessly, pretending as if he had no ties with the Ancient Clan at all.

Seeing Han Xiaotian’s demeanor, Su Chengyu repressed the disgust in his heart and got straight to the point without further ado.

“The Cold Moon Envoy just transmitted a message: In a quarter of an hour, this entire Cave Heaven will be leveled.”

“What did you say?”

Indeed, Su Chengyu’s words immediately drew Han Xiaotian’s brows together, casting a doubtful look at the presently calm surroundings, clearly not trusting what Su Chengyu said.

Without further explanation, Su Chengyu simply glanced at the Great Formation and said, “Your people should have felt it too. The Great Formation has been completely dismantled; regardless of whether Nan Zhi comes out of it, the Luo Clan’s bloodline inheritance is severed.”

“So what?”

Jiang Mo’s robust voice chimed in from the side, his gaze fixed intently on Bai Qiu and Ling Xiao as if ready to strike at the slightest flaw.

“Do you have no brains, or does your whole Ancient Clan lack them?”

Su Chengyu remarked coldly.

Beside Han Xiaotian, Elder Xiao Ting of the Xiao Tribe was the first to react.

“The Great Formation’s destruction means that Luo Tiansheng may vent all his rage on us, possibly dragging everyone here to be buried alongside the Luo Clan.”

Han Xiaotian squinted, stepping forward to shout at Su Chengyu.

“Are you telling the truth?”

Su Chengyu couldn’t be bothered with him, “Believe it or not, I’ve delivered the message. If you want to wait here for death, I won’t stop you. Ling Xiao, Bai Qiu!”

Hearing Su Chengyu’s words, the two of them immediately understood, nodding before relaying the information to Long Ao Tian, still entangled with the Guardian Beasts in the distance.

“Damn, going for such a big move?”

After forcing two Guardian Beasts back with a tail swipe, Long Ao Tian assessed the tense situation there, quickly making a decision before speaking to the surrounding Ancient Exotic Beasts.

“Alright! We’ve stalled long enough; now everyone, prepare to retreat!”

The four Guardian Beasts possessed infinite mana. Their task here was merely to hold them off, which was why Long Ao Tian alone could manage the situation.

At this moment, with only a quarter of an hour remaining, further delay seemed unnecessary.

“Han Secret Envoy, the Exotic Beasts over there indeed started retreating.”

Xiao Ting observed the movement over there and immediately spoke to Han Xiaotian to gauge his intentions.

Likewise noticing the development, Han Xiaotian hesitated, undecided about what he was pondering.

“Secret Envoy, are you worried that Su Chengyu might be tricking us?”

Xiao Ting cautiously suggested, snapping Han Xiaotian back to reality.

Han Xiaotian’s eyes shifted as he replied, “Elder Xiao, you’re overthinking. Su Saint Envoy and I might have some misunderstandings, but we both serve His Majesty. This matter is grave; naturally, I wouldn’t doubt him.”

Saying this, Han Xiaotian gestured to his subordinates, prompting those from the Heaven Punishment Department to quickly start organizing the withdrawal.

Xiao Ting, however, hesitated, not immediately gathering his clansmen, and spoke, “Then, may I ask what Secret Envoy was hesitating about earlier.”

Han Xiaotian looked up at Xiao Ting and said, “Nothing, I believe Su Chengyu’s words. He has no reason to lie at this time. I was just contemplating your issues.”

“Our issues? Do you mean the Ancient Clan?”

Xiao Ting responded, catching on.

Han Xiaotian’s lips curled, “Yes, once this is over, regardless of whether Su Chengyu saves that woman from the Great Formation or not, he will be hostile towards all of you. To my knowledge, he’s notoriously vengeful. If he leaves here alive today, you won’t have an easy time ahead.”

Xiao Ting’s expression darkened, pausing before saying, “Han Secret Envoy, your implication is…”

“Hey!”

Xiao Ting was about to speak further when Han Xiaotian interrupted him.

“Elder Xiao, don’t unjustly accuse the innocent. I didn’t say anything. Zigui, let’s go.”
